Teacher Academy 2008

The Teacher Academy was a 6 hour workshop session offered on Monday, June 30th and Tuesday, July 1st. There were a total of 21 instructors from the K-12 Community that attended. The respondents submitted a survey at the end of the sessions.  Here’s a summary of their responses:

• Longer sessions to actually utilize tools to build own classroom sites
• Video imaging, editing, converting, and sharing
• Compilation of some blog, wiki, and educational technology sites 
• Microsoft Word
• Smart boards
• More time to practice

The TELS staff has been instrumental in developing technology training for not only YC faculty, but also the K-12 Community.
